From Fox News:

Napa officials estimated the quake caused between $5 million and $15 million in damage. About 100-150 buildings sustained structural damage, including collapsed chimneys and broken hot water heaters, according to Napa police.

Luckily, for wine lovers around the world, the area's most famous product survived relatively unscathed. A few wineries reported only minor damage. "We lost about three bottles," said Lessly Van Houtan, who works in the tasting room of Carneros Creek winery.

Talked to several owners in Napa. The major concentration of damage was in lower Napa. As most know the majority of wineries are above the Yountville area. Boots Braunstein said Al didn`t even wake up so she roused him and sais, "There`s been an earthquake" Al retorted, " Go back to sleep honey, it was just me shaking." ( Al has Parkinsons).
Just a few restaurants and stores in Napa proper lost some stuff. winoweenie

I now this will be the proverbial anaheim on the chilli tree, but I`ll be in Vail for the next two weeks. Will probably borrow my neighbors PC and check in but I Be Gone. winoweenie
