I shall peruse the back posts and find all the transgression, lies, distortions, bad guesses, and dumb answers that have been posted and gone un-answered in my absence. I know the Drewsker was overwhelmed by the enormity of the task. WW

I'll bet the Weeniemobile was sagging on its springs under the weight of those CA jewels!

Looks like the reds are back...

At last, an ally!

Verne, in your absence, your powerful civilizing influence in Arizona waned so much that, for the first time EVER, a package of wine (and meant for a 90th birthday party...so no joy in Sun City) was confiscated en route to it's rightful owner by the gendarmes. What gives? I thought things were cool in AZ....

Aw Shucks Fellerz! ( blush ). To git rite inna' thins; Tom Dehlinger said to tell you Hi!-there Buckie-poo, Only brunged back 26 cases Hotsie, Yes Foodie they were ALL red, Radical, Al said to tell you Hi. I stayed at the winery only 1 nite, and Boto-mungus, sorry I missed you on the way up but Ali sent some dyno-mite stuff upp wif' ole' weener. As a matter of fact, the white he sent up was a killer that wowed Tom, Fred Scherrer and all the staff at Carneros.( A review coming up tromorrow) The Wholesalers have SO much control here because of their political contributions that Az. is probably one of the nastiest of all the 3-tier hummers

- hotwine - 08-17-2001

It sounds like the Weeniemobile must at least be in the Bluebird class, if not a Southern & Pacific railcar....

- winoweenie - 08-18-2001

The mobile is a GMC and will actually hold more if I don't carry a bunch of carpet samples with me. On the other hand, if I didn't carry a bunch of samples, storage would be moot as I couldn't pay for the wine. WW

- hotwine - 08-18-2001

Well said, WW. We do have to keep our priorities straight, and payin' the bills has got to be up there near the top.

- winecollector - 08-18-2001

Kinda' comical.... last century people used to run shine.... now winoweenie is runnin wine.... I'm gettin a visual on the ol' GMC ridge-runner (hee...hee...hee...)

- barnesy - 08-18-2001

Well, If you have a large GMC...Put a tow ball on the back of that baby and get you a trailer to haul more wine. We can then call ya "trucker weener"

Barnesy

- winoweenie - 08-18-2001

The hole trouble there Barn-burner is that I 'haint found a towable trailer that had a reefer on it. WW ( 'twere 94 in Napa whenced I lefted )

- hotwine - 08-18-2001

Hmmm. There's a huge (40 ft) motorhome available locally that would fill that bill; it has a 10 ft freezer compartment in the floor. A virtually new $460K palace being given away for only $120K. Now if I just had 120 in my pocket, I could run right over there and grab it, rent it to the Weenie, and retire to the Bahamas.

- winoweenie - 08-20-2001

The Jimmy holds all I can afford to buy. From now on, there'll be plenty of room with the new weeniers " Texas " attitude ( I'll El Paso on that bottling )WW
