i have been given a bottle of 1938 chateau - moutor rothschild -1938 grand vin stamped
#17010. any ideas as to its value ?

Hi jcrater and welcome to the board. 1938 was a very poor vintage in Bordeaux. There-fore I haven't seen a secondary market in the wines. As far as for drinking, it saw its' best days over 60 years ago. Too bad I couldn't be more helpful. WW ( I take it you meant Mouton Rothschild )
