- Smurfette - 07-26-2001 I am making salsa chicken salad wraps for a "romantic" picnic. I bought a 2000 Fetzer Echo Ridge Gewurtraminer because the label recommended it with "Latin foods" and "luncheon foods". Did I make a decent choice? I have never tried gewurtaminer, but it being a white wine, I assumed it would be okay "new" and with chicken. If not, please give me some suggestions for other wine choices. Supermarket quality pleas; I have yet to find a wine shop in my very rural, Bible-belt, Florida panhandle hometown. Don't forget the corkscrew and the wine glasses. |
