HI - first time here : )
I have come into possesion og 4 bottles of wine from the 60's (bought them...)
Does anyone know anything about them:
(have done som seaching but no luck)
3 x Grand cru - Chateau Paradis (Montagne-Saint-Emilion) 1961
1 x Chateau Phelan-Segur 1964

Hi Andreas, and welcome to the Wine Board. Was living in France when your newer wine was harvested in the fall of 1964. Turned 25 that fall and was full of vim and vinegar. The wine that followed was vibrant and viral too. Both were sensational in the '70s into the '80s. Now I'm old and grey and getting wrinkled, and so is your wine. Do have a few good licks left in me, and your wine just might too.
