Welcome, agfa. Here's what I found out about your wine.

DESCRIPTION - SWEET APERITIF WINE

It is on a stripped solid mass of Maury, with the foot of the castle of QUERIBUS which in 1818 the field was born from FARMHOUSE AMIEL. On this ground of chist and sun, one discovers with surprise the most significant existing park of boubonnaes. Indeed, after its wine making, the wine will remain one year with the sun, or glass will enable him to develop with the maximun its aromatic qualities, thanks to an astonishing climatic process combining glass, the light, the cold and heat. Only FARMHOUSE AMIEL knew to preserve this method of Roman origin.

Wrap with the tuilés reflections, noses and mouth offer notes of cocoa, cooked prunes, liquorice, candied fruits and spice. Beautiful harmony and cordial finale.

TYPE OF VINES

90% Black Grenache, 5% Maccabeu, 5% Carignan.

The COUNCILS of the OENOLOGIST

- "It is useful out of aperitif, is enjoyed on poêlé foie gras, calf sweetbread, at rabbit to prunes, refined cheeses. Rare thing, he will be the ideal companion of chocolate cakes, to nuts, the coffee... ".

PRICE

79 FF/12.04 Have/$13.48 U.S. per bottle.

agfa, did you ever watch Rocky & Bullwinkle? Drew is Mr. Peabody.......

Yes, but the Mr Peabody's will take over the world.....

I opened it to try, and it's like a Port without the sweetness and brandy... You could
almost call it a "Dry Port" 16.5% alc.

I was looking for something to go with Blue Cheese and nuts for tomorrow night, I think this will do just fine...

Mr Peabody and his faithful boy Sherman........ bringing you Peabody's Fractured Fairy Tales or was it History?.

Gad, but that was a while ago!!

Hmmmmm, I'd rather look out the window behind my computer and watch the Carolina Wren on my bramble bush, than wax reflective anymore about Mr. Peabody..... GRIN!!
