I have a bottle of Madeira Cossart Gordon Bual Solera 1845 and was wondering what its current value is. My sister-in-law won the bottle at a business function and is curious as to its dollar value.

Thank you in advance!

Remember the 1845 Solera was started at that time, meaning the wine is different from a 1845 vintage wine. If memory serves, solera Madeiras from the 1850's were recently around in the wholesale market.
The wine is valuable ($200 maybe), but remember that single bottle lots are hard to sell at auction. Your greatest value comes from opening it and drinking it. These wines are pretty much bullet proof, so don't worry about it going bad.
