- DWtsn - 01-22-2000 I am looking for a wine(s) from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany. It is a Qualitatswein, "Bacchus". I cannot find this anywhere in the US that I've been, although I have found a few other wines from the same region. Also, can someone tell me if the "Bacchus" would be the sweetness, or taste of the wine, or is this the grape itself? - Bucko - 01-22-2000 Bacchus is a white wine varietal resulting from the cross (Silvaner x Riesling) X Muller-Thurgau. The wines range in all styles, but are not known for exceptional quality. Bucko |
