I am looking for a wine from the vinyard on George Lucas' Ranch. Does anyone have information on whom to contact to acquire some wine from this great directors vinyard?

Skywalker Ranch -- I'm not sure that the grapevines are mature enough....?

Thanks I was afraid of that.

I heard he will call the wine "attack of the heritage clones"

"What did the grape say when he was sat on? Nothing, he just let out a little whine."

There was an article in Scientific American a year or so ago that showed the parallels in the brain activity between those who pun and those who taste wine.

I am sorry to see that there are those of us who both pun AND taste wine.

I think I'll write a book: Pun with Wine!

Winze&Chooze, I am curious, are you looking to buy Lucas' wine because of who he is or because the wine might be good in the future, when it is produced? Is there something about what goes on there that recommends the wine?

Number one as far as this goes I am a fan of lucas' work. I collect many things from the movies. However, I feel that as much as a perfectionist as he is the wine should be very good. He would not embark on making wine unless he surrounded himself with the best knowledge he could. I love to drink wine. I don't consider myself an expert on the hobby of tasting, however I know what I enjoy. But, as this particular wine I am wanting to collect a few at first. If it is to my liking I would buy later for the pleasure of drinking.

Let's hope what Lucas comes up with is not as over the top as so many celebrity wines in California.

I remember when Smothers came out with wine--blah. I am also no fan of the Coppola label, maybe because I use my money better. Fess Parker has offered some reasonable products (in the past, haven't had any lately).

Benefit of the doubt to Lucas; we shall have to wait and see!
