- Kricket - 04-04-2002 I need help matching wines with food. Here is the food that I am serving and I need some wines to go with each. I really hope someone can help me out! For an apetizer: Vegtable Tempura seved with a yogurt sauce For Soup: Cream of wild mushroom and broccoli Entree: Beef turnedos with peppercorn sauce. and Chicken Supreme with herb cream sauce Dessert: Chocolate souffle with strawberries. Late Harvest Zinfandel - wondersofwine - 04-05-2002 Another suggestion on the vegetable tempura-- Andrea Immer's book suggests a dry Spanish sherry--Oloroso type--with vegetable tempura. I'll go along with IK's suggestions on the rest. If you can't find late harvest Zinfandel, you might use port with dessert. |
