I typically view new wine products with a healthy skepticism. This is a small jar, which contains what appear to be BBs. Basically, you dump them in the decanter with a little water, then swirl them around until those pesky stains that develop over time, and that you can't get out with a regular decanter scrub brush, are removed. We've soaked and cleaned our decanter countless times with everything we could think of, and I could never get rid of those little wine stains in the bottom of the decanter. Anne gave me these as a stocking stuffer for Christmas, and I tried them for the first time tonight.

The stains are gone. They work, and fast. I'm thrilled, and the decanter looks great. She got them through the Wine Enthusiast catalog, and they run about $20. Better than getting a new decanter, that's for sure. Plus, I really like my decanter, so I wasn't thrilled with the notion of replacing it.

Thumbs up for this product.
