I figured too early to open this but not having heard of the winery I wanted to test drive one. Inky dark purple. High toned black fruit, (winemaker notes), describes the flavor profile perfectly. Over 2 hours darker, more lush, berry flavors appear with notes of bitter chocolate and mineral on the long finish. The wine has an appealing rusticity now but should evolve beautifully with some years. Seems to have all the stuff. 14.5% Alc/vol. 169 cases produced. A Fess Parker wine. Gonna pick up a few more and put 'em away.
