Had this with some friends last night. Had some cheeses to eat with the wine as well. This sucker was pretty powerful and eclipsed the Chianti we opened first. Dark purple color in the glass, with a nose of plum and cigar box. Dark fruits were very much aparent in this wine as well as some stinging tannins yet. Cherries, toast, blackberries, and dark chocolate were what hit the mouth. Good wine for only $12 and could probably use a few more in the cellar.

Wonderful wine, but way too young. The 1994 is drinking wonderfully now.

Yea agree, Concannons have to sleep a long while.
