I tried a 1.5 oz. pour of this with a cheese plate at Enoteca Vin. $5.50 for the taste.
Substitutes well for a Sauvignon Blanc with the Bleu cheese. Almost unctuous texture. Didn't thrill me for the price. Prices retail seem to be all over the place. Carolina Wine Company has the 2000 vintage on sale (reduced from $39.99 to $29.99) but I saw a 2004 on wine-searcher.com for $63 and a 2000 for $43.
(Also tasted 1.5 pour of Pinot Noir on that thread)
