can anyone direct me to a source for OMAR KYHAM wines in the United States, specifically, New Jersey. Thanks.

Welcome to the board, Oliver. Wine-searcher.com had no joy. Suggest you go to your favorite retailer and ask him to check with his distributors; maybe one deals with a Middle Eastern source who could locate it for you.

Actually the correct spelling is Omar Khayyam and wine-searcher turned up 1 match in the UK.

Omar Khayyam, Persian poet, active 1100 A.D., born and educated about 500 miles east of Tehran, wrote of "a loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and thou."

I can't find reference to any US distributors so I'd take Hotwine's advise and head to your local retailer.

There is an Egyptian wine spelled Omar Khyam, but it appears to be available only in Egypt.

can't remember the producer, but the only wine I had while in Egypt tasted like vinegar! I drank it out of courtesy for my host, but UGH!
