- spicylady - 01-10-2002 I have been searching for a late harvest dessert wine i.e. Ice Wine. Either Riesling or Muscat or perhaps a recommendation. Ice Wines are usually made in very limited quantities.....have checked my favorite winery, sad to say they have none. When they (Bookwalterwines.com) have it, it is a wonderful treat! - Innkeeper - 01-10-2002 Hi Spicy, and welcome to the Wine Board. I like Bonny Doon Muscat de Glacieres. It is pretty widely distributed. It is a kind of an ice wine. He freezes the grapes and then makes wine out of them. Runs around $17 for 375 ml which is much less than the going price for the genuine thing. - John Moore - 10-10-2003 HI! Spicylady, I carry a small but incredible array of icewine(the REAL thing from Germany). Please feel free to contact me at my e-mail: IntWBrokers@yahoo.com FYI: I am a wine broker/consultant |
