- wondersofwine - 07-16-2010 A misspelling on the variety--Seyval Blanc. Another summer sipper. 11% alcohol. Synthetic cork. Pale and transparent. Tastes something like a Sauvignon Blanc and something like a Chardonnay. Citrus and honeydew melon notes. Starts crisp and ends on an off-dry sensation. Good pairing with pork chops. Also suggested for chicken or fish. [This message has been edited by wondersofwine (edited 07-16-2010).] - Innkeeper - 07-16-2010 If I'm not wrong this one has a good dose of oak. OTOH Knapp's Pasta White is 100% oak free Seval which is very hard to find, and delicious. |
