About what a nouveau should be....very light and fruity without being watered-down Jello. Finish lasts about a millisecond. Could be a lot worse (see the Louis Tete TN), and lacks the banana flavoring that has characterized GD Beaujolais for the past several years... a welcome change. Alc/vol is 12% and price was $8.99 (probably headed for $4.99 by the end of the year). Would work well as an introductory red wine for a novice.

Fine when it was cold, but when the bottle warmed up the wine tasted like gunmetal.

I got strawberry-raspberry bubble gum but thankfully no bananas (Yes, I have no bananas.)

You most likely got the airborne BN, hotsy. Price is higher than the shipborne. The stuff in the shop we got by air is $3 per more than the ship version.
