Ahhhh beaujolais season.

I guess I've never had a really beaujolais.

There is a lot going on in this beaujolais. Light garnet-brick in color, it is an assertive Beaujolais with loads of flavor, plums, strawberries, and some spiciness. Medium finish and still fairly light despite the density of flavors. There is also a fair bit of tannins in this. My friends thought it was a Pinor Noir and I could see why.

Very nice for $17.
