Trying out one more rose for the end of summer last week. $9.99 Vincent Vin Gris arty label which I will try to soak off and preserve.
13.5% alcohol
Color was a pale rosy red. Nose of partly ripe strawberries and pinot noir scents.
Refreshing mid-palate; a little off on the finish. Actually improved the second day.
I had it with Canadian bacon and a broccoli/cheese casserole the first day and the second eveningt with baked porckchop with mushroom sauce. Attractive rose and a good value but don't look for complexity.
