Pinky coral or medium coral color.
The first sip was a pleasant shock after the strawberry and watermelon flavored rose's I'd been drinking. This is more evocative of dark raspberries with a peppery edge, although that is not an exact replication of the flavor. This rose' could probably stand up to grilled meats such as beef, beef brisket, or lamb. I had it with chicken cacciatore which was an okay match. Produced and bottled by Briggs and Sons, Calistoga, CA.
I have a second bottle. Not 100% certain I will seek out to buy again but I did get some enjoyment from it.
