- wondersofwine - 01-14-2011 12 % abv. Louis/Dressner Selections My previous bottle of this wine tasted heat-damaged. This one was fine. I had a glass as an aperitif and a second glass wtih baked chicken breasts in a lemon-asparagus sauce with rice. Straw color with transparency. Possibly more lemon and less seashell and salinity than some Muscadets but pleasing. I think it paired even better with the chicken and lemon-accented sauce than it did the next night with mussels in garlic sauce. Not sharply acidic but holding its own--not tasting tired.
