Be kind, Carl. Verne's just had his heart broken.

So sorry, Verne...twas an exciting game though.

It truly was an exciting game. Now that we have a taste of this burger...I mean bugger maybe next year we can finish it off. I'm extremely proud of this group of young men. They accomplished worlds more than even the most optimistic Redbird fan expected. Hats off to the tin-canners. WW

Great game, much better than most of the talking heads expected. Could have done with less yammering by the nbc suits & suitettes, but even they couldn't diminish the quality of the game. Fun time.

It was a great game, and hats off to all. My favorite expletive while watching games on TV is: "Shut up Dan!"

I was rooting for the Cardinals as the underdog team and thought they had it after Larry Fitzgerald's touchdown with less than three minutes to go (or at least an overtime chance if the Steelers got close enough to kick a field goal.) It's sad either team has to lose on a game that close. I enjoyed Bruce Springsteen at halftime and Jennifer Hudson's rendition of the national anthem too.
