is beating up the dollar and now all wine prices from the "Continent" are coming in at 10 to 20 percent higher prices.

I gotta find another way...

The Euro is at 1.09 and change as of right now, not TOO bad and the trend is positive...

Not too bad! All is relative; not too bad against two weeks ago, but I remember when it was 87 cents to a Euro.

Anyway, the prices have already gone up in most cases. Hope you are right about the trend. The Mrs. and I celebrate 30 years this October--we are going to do the celebrating in the south of France--figure that is where we will find fewer Americans this year!

If anyone is interested, I have a contact for a spectacular house rental in Beaucaire (between Arle and Avignon) along the Rhone.
