In an otherwise awful autumn for me, thank goodness for Alabama football. Roll Tide!

Here's hoping next year bodes better for you, and maybe not so good for the tide!

Glad to see you posting again, Dan.
Having no stake with Mizzou and Wisconsin both underperforming, I'll hop on the Tide wagon for a couple of weeks in your honor!

Some of usns' have ties to Mizzou. Be me Almy-Mammy-Jammer. Watching them play feetsball in the late 40s' was worse than going to the Sat. sand-lot pick-me-up game. I HAVE suffered. Let me bask in this teensy moment of fame. WW

Thanks, Vouvray. My crummy fall extends to football outside of Bama, as my Packers have felt the loss of Favre, the Badgers are bound for an insignificant bowl, and my adopted Mizzou just tanked against Kansas and look to be trampled by the Sooners in the Big 12 title game. So, Bama has had to make up for a whole lot.

We'll need everyone we can get on the bandwagon if we're to stand a chance against Florida on Saturday. WW, I'll expect your support come Saturday, too. By the by, got your message, and will try and touch base this weekend.

Yep, I've got the same trio: Pack, Badgers, Mizzou (in that order)... Not sure the Pack would be better with Favre, though...

WW: I'd LOVE Mizzou to win next week. They were awful when I was there, so these past couple of years have been terrific overall, I just hoped for more from this year.

For awhile Chase Daniel, quarterback at Mizzou, was my choice for Heisman but he's had a couple off games. The Big Twelve quarterback coterie this year could monopolize the Heisman nominees (except for Florida's quarterback Tim Tebow who has already received a Heisman and may repeat.)
