less than 200 cases produced.
$29 normally, found on sale for $12! Bought both of 'em.
The nose is slightly disappointing for good viognier, really oretty-- floral, peachy and musky-- just a bit lighter than usual. I think it's a wee touch older than it should be, but that's ok. It was over half off!
Light peachey-lemony-custard flavors on the front with more minerality than I expected. Silky and fairly full-bodied. When the mouthful of wine was half-way down my throat the wine turned around into orange blossom, something remisiscent of what a sugarless marshmallow would taste like, and a bigger burst of ripe peach. And as long of a finish as I can remember from a dry white. Really tasty.
The '05 is supposed to be even better, so maybe it's on the way with this one marked down?

I don't mean to sound uneducated, but what does oretty mean?
And what do you think the chances are of the Badgers upsetting Michigan?
One more; Do you work in a wine shop? And if so, which one and where is it? And if not, where do you buy your wine in Madison?

chances of Badgers beating Michigan? 100% if the combined score is under 20. 0% if it is over.
I work for a little wine store in McFarland, just South of Madison. Bob's McFarland Liquor. It looks like a hole from the outside, but is actually quite nice on the inside. He remodeled about a year and a half ago, added a bunch of wine, and wanted someone to sell it. that's me.
I shop there, but also at Cork and Bottle, Steve's, and Star-- where my girlfriend worked for a while...

Thanks for the response. Next time in town, I'll stop by. I've never known where to go for wine in Madison and always find myself at Woodman's or something like that.
When in Highschool, I lived not too far from McFarland. I attended LaFolette (sometimes). Anyway, hope the Badgers surprise us all. That defense will get a test tomorrow.
Sorry so talkitive this evening. Just sitting here finishing off a couple bottles of wine. (Clarendon Hills Astralis '04 and '05) Which one is better? I can't tell. Very little difference and very good juice.
