Vineyard Sources: 57% Rodney’s Vineyard (Santa Barbara County), 15% Williams Vineyard (Lodi), 11% French Camp (Paso Robles), 3% Ashley’s Vineyard (Santa Barbara County) & 14% from other Santa Barbara County Vineyards.

Composition: 70% Syrah, 12% Grenache, 6% Petite Sirah, 5% Mouvedre, 4% Cinsault, and 3% Carignane.

Very well made value wine, easily a Best Buys candidate. Very Rhone like, rustic, dark fruit and blackberry, red berry, spice, coffee, shrooms and a touch of mint. Really tasty and I like the coffee nuance in this blend. Rather complex for the price and fun to sip and notice how the wine changes over time. 13.8% Alc/Vol. $9.99
