I recall reading that Vinsobres is a village trying to get its own appellation.
I drank this a couple of weeks ago and meant to post.

This is not exactly classic CDR, but really more interesting to me than some I've had recently, if maybe not quite as straight-up pleasurable as some of those '07's.

It had a distinct roasted quality that was really intriguing, and tended toward the earthy side with some tar and raspberry as well. I think it was $18 or so, and I really enjoyed it on a cold night with hearty veggie-fare.

I posted on this back in October; $9.99 at Costco. Agree that '07s are preferred, with this '06 being a bit hot.

I'll look for the '07, then. Especially if I can find it for your price, as I liked the '06 just fine.
