Composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Nose of black pepper and bruised red fruit. Much more of both on the palate, with earth undertone, horse breath and barn floor. Rich, long finish. 14.5% alc/vol and $15.79 at Costco. With her beef stew and cornbread..... beutimus!

As long as that horse is young has only been eating sweet hay...

Had a 3rd bottle tonight with oak-grilled burgers. A match made in heaven.....round and firm, with the fruit structure to withstand the burger seasoning (black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and Lawry's Seasoned Salt, over a fire of seasoned live oak). With baked beans and garlic oven-fried spuds. So much for the '03 vintage being one to avoid.... this specimen couldn't be any better. The future holds at least a case.

Failed to mention that only 300 cases were imported and WS gives it a 91. Picked up a box yesterday.
