- winoweenie - 08-26-2005 A terrific example of what this varietal can do in Calif. Lovely deep ruby with laods of lush plummy red fruits, spices, and a whisper of earth. Another casuality of the vintage this wine delivers in spades. 650 cases produced. Closed out by the local distributor at 19 a clatter. A solid 4+ lapper with some tannins that will take another 2-4 to fully develop. 90/92. 13.5% alc. WW - winoweenie - 10-21-2005 Had another today for lunch with Chuys' marvelous mesquite- broiled shrimp, whitefish(red snapper) and fixins. Great stuff. This sucker sung like a 2-time loser looking at the jernt. Took care of the salsa et.al. WW |
