For the price, this is fantastic. Fours years was probably just enough to start to get into the wine. Solid nose of berries, spices, dried fruits, herbs, etc,. Very deep purple colour stil, ripe but very balanced. Still tannic but not overty so, giving a nice structure to the wine.

I only bought one....should've bought 1/2 dozen as this looks like it could go a few more years. All the 2004's that I've tried so far from the Rhone have been pretty solid wines.

I also like the Coudoulet. I think it may be "Wine Enthusiast" that says although the price is rising in recent years, it is still good value.
