Intensity on the nose, a bit hot, dark fruit, plum, pepper, fleshy tannins. Needs glass time of 20-30 minutes upon which it opens up to reveal way more fruit and attack on the mid palate. While it was enjoyable, I felt like it didn't really measure up to its expectations...
