- hotwine - 02-03-2004 Good Grief! This must be one of those wines Bucko complains about as being over-extracted fruit bombs. Used it with leftover pork loin etc., and had a hard time finding the food under the wine. Alcohol was 13.9%, about $11 at the discounter. Just not my cup of juice. Have another bottle, if anyone needs a clay pidgeon. - Innkeeper - 02-03-2004 But did you like it? - hotwine - 02-03-2004 No. - Kcwhippet - 02-03-2004 Another of Gallo's brands. - hotwine - 02-04-2004 Should have guessed. Thanks, KC. - Drew - 02-04-2004 I've always been a fan of overblown syrah/shiraz on occassion just for sippin', but not with food. Drew |
