From Paso Robles, this yummy drink didn't last long last night while we watched the Academy Awards. In fact, it took us about as long to drink it as it took the Academy to give out two awards. Dark ruby in color, with a nose of raspberry jelly. In fact, it's a raspberry delivery system, with gobs and gobs of fruit on the tongue. Minimal tannins, no real complexity, this isn't an ager, simply a fun wine to enjoy right now. Or now. Juicy, yummy stuff. Anne was a happy gal, too. 14.5% alc. Paid $16 at Whole Foods locally.

Yeah, we love the store more than the prices, and have always called them "WholeWallet," so the sentiment is shared. They always run high -- $2-3 dollars more per bottle.
