Deep ruby. Nose of leather, bacon fat, earth, and plummy fruits. All come across on the palate including some black cherry. Smooth entry, weighty center, and a terrific 4 lapper finish. Not a tannin in a truck-load. Should hold another 5-8 easily. Sooper stuff. 91/92. 29 by the box on futures. 14.2% alc. WW

Found a cache of these withe 97 Pinots. Nothings changed except maybe the nose is getting more depth. WW
