I just received a bottle of wine as a gift, but know nothing about it. The name on the bottle is Georges Duboeuf. Vintage is 1993. It also says Chateauneuf Du Pape on the bottle. And the type of wine is Red Rhone Wine. Can anyone help me to know more about this bottle? Is it an expensive bottle, when is it best drank? That sort of stuff. Feel free to e-mail me or post on the message board. Thanks.

Hi Jhuff and welcome to the board. This is one of Duboeufs' better bottlings and should still be drinkable. Probably sold in the 15-20 range on release. Unless you have pristine storage suggest you open sooner than later. WW
