This is probably the best American Syrah I have ever come across. When Spectator gave it a 96 the rush was on and I only got two bottles, but by god they were worth the $60 a piece. Very Euro in style with a ton of earth, chaulk, and loam. The fruit was dark and looming and coated the mouth with bunches of black cherry. Perhaps some chocolate and coffee in the background. 100% wonderful and I can see why this producer is getting heaps of accolades lately. I go with the WS 96 point rating.
