1997 Villa Maria
Private Bin
Riesling
$14

Crisp yellow with tinge of green on the color. Wonderfully soft citrus, and I want to say minerally/petrolish notes on the nose and palate. Great acid with a medium-long finish.

Very Alsatian (which is why its posted here) in style with the citrusy new world notes.

Love their SB, and will try the riesling. Thanks Barns.

Pretty big alcohol on that sucker if my memory serves me correctly, but I did like the wine overall.

Cheers,

Its only 12.5%, so not out of line for a dry Riesling.
