I tried a sample pour of this at Dean & Deluca while in Charlotte for the Wine and Food weekend. It was a green-tinged straw color with a sweet taste of pear and white peaches.
Also tried a small sample pour of 2005 Copain L'Hiver Mendocino Syrah but found it disappointing. Maybe the bottle had been open for several days. I've heard good things about Copain Syrah so will try again if the opportunity comes up.
