Mosel wine Riesling
8.5% alcohol
Pale straw color.
Cutting acid with citrus tones of grapefruit and lemon juice. Balanced and tasty.
Distinguished from Sauvignon Blanc by a floral Riesling perfume. This would easily cut through a rich cream sauce such as in Rahmschnitzel but I enjoyed it with porkchop and applesauce. Imported by Winesellers Ltd., Skokie, IL.

I find many of the 2004's have this very focused acidity that go well with food that have a bit more weight to them...otherwise if it was like a light vietnamese spring roll, the wine would crush it.
