Nice to get home some sometimes [img]/ubb/smile.gif[/img] nice break allowed me to slip home a bit earlier today for the weekend from NY. So picked up my purchase today. Boy if this is any indication of the 09 releases....
I've loved this producers wines for his focused wines but this kabinett is bursting with flavors. On first pour, still some carbonation, and on taste, a bit in chunks...must have just arrived. but what i did taste was big, peaches, lush, frankly a bit too much for a kabinett, but nice acidity and a big finish. I read once that he actually wants to be more like Donnhoff....starting to see that.....but this wine needs a few weeks to settle down at least.....
