1997 Domaine Santa Barbara Pinot Gris, Santa Barbara County (CA, US) - $12.00
Brass color with a slight pink twinge. Big, full nose with grapefruit candy, a bit of pineapple and minerals. On the palate, citrus zest with pink grapefruit and minerals. Excellent acidity and well balanced, would make a great match with any seafood done in a sauce. Not as richly appointed as the '97 Joseph Swan Pinot Gris but a good wine for the money.
