2005 Torremoron Tinto, Ribera Del Duero, Tempranillo ($9.99 Whole Foods). It is an unoaked cuvee of 100% Tempranillo from old vines. It gives you raspberry, strawberry, and cherry on the nose and upfront. In the middle it is pleasantly raw, very concentrated and structured. The finish is long and fruity.

Matched it with Cous Cous (lamb & chicken), and spinach. It was all very nice for a Tuesday night.

We tried and enjoyed this recently, though I realize that I never posted about it. I thought it was interesting to taste a Spanish Tempranillo that wasn't aged in oak. My notes match yours, particularly the red berry fruit. Runs about $11 at our Whole Foods, but we'd still likely buy it again. Thanks for your notes.
