Blueberries and red currants on the nose with a touch of saddle leather and cedar coming in, pure silky fruit on the palate, very graceful, fading to a moderate finish even as the nose lingers. 12.5% alc/vol and about $13. With venison chilli, jalapeno cornbread and cole slaw. Love these old wrinkled Spaniards!

Pulled one last night to accompany peasant stew. Still wonderfu stuff! No change at all in the TN.

The '94 and '95 Gran Reservas are drinking wonderfully right now.

I've got a Baroja '94 and a '98 gran reserva. Will have to find a special occasion to open the '94 I guess.
