Old Vines Grenache -- Navarra
This was totally wierd. Nice deep blood red-to-purple color with a muted nose, however. The first night . . . well, it tasted exactly like grapefruit juice. EXACTLY. If you closed your eyes, it would be impossible to taste a difference. The second night, the grapefruit juice flavors were gone, leaving behind no discernable fruit, but a great deal of black pepper. Don't have any idea what to make of it. Alc, 13.5%. Paid $10 locally, but won't be looking for it again.

I think this is the same one we've had many times. If so, you got a bad bottle.
