It's a hot sticky day here in NJ and a chilled glass of this really hit the spot. To me it tasted of peaches and apples. It didn't have that strong sour taste I found its Chardonnay cousin. I really enjoyed this wine. $12.99 12.5% alcohol

Welcome to the world of NZ SB! We love the stuff, going through a case or two a month from various producers. I'm drinking a Lawson's as I type.

Now, Georgie, look for a Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre (France) and see if that hits the spot too! I'm going to open one tonight from Francois Cotat.

Thanks for the suggestion. After the morning I just put in with these kids, I'm tempted to run to the liquor store at lunchtime and buy a bottle!

Bet they are hopping with "summer-school's-almost-out" fever!!

Believe me, nobody's hopping more than I am. This is a true endurance test!

LoL I can imagine...I remember when my Adv Placement US History II class ended...hehe...much earlier than the others cause of the AP exams...anyways...hehe...our teacher ended up just sitting back in class and catching up on her reading between the AP exam an the end of school year...

Hey, Georgie. You're up to 400 posts already.

- Georgie - 06-13-2003

Hey look at that! 400 posts and only a small percentage have anything to do with wine! But I AM having a good time! Enjoyed the rest of this wine tonight with five-cheese tri-colored tortellini with olive oil and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano. Tonight I needed comfort food!
