96% Zin and 4% Petite Sirah, sourced from the Continente, Cutino, Cecchini, and Madruga Vineyards in eastern Contra Costa County, at the foot of Mount Diablo. Dark purple with a hugh nose of crushed raspberry, blackberry and brown sugar. Flavors follow nose with a spicy, INTENSE mid palate of raspberry and brown sugar. Pair this baby with CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE!!! Killer zin for this style,(which not all will like). 15.6%Alc/vol. Wine guy selling for $18 but I got 25% discount on a mixed case 1 day special.

tried this last night with a grilled, spice-rubbed burger. big aromas and flavors of chocolate, jammy black and blue berries, plus raspberry. almost *too* jammy for me, but a tasty fruit bomb, with little acidity and no noticeable tannins. paid $15.99 for the bottle (no discount). boy, am i going to miss B-21. It is a different animal that I noted that not all will like and no way this is a food , meal, wine and I don't want a steady diet of it either. You gotta be in a certain mood to enjoy this.
