2000 Paitin Ce Veja Nebbiolo D'alba

I was kinda looking forward to this for dinner tonight, but it did not impress. I will try again tomorrow but here is the TN.

Decanted for 1 hour:
(1) Nose was of older wood with little fruit
(2) taste was like nose with noticable tannins and acid at end and every so slight coffee. Combined more like a heehaw root if anyone knows what the hell that is.....
(3) A slight bitter end

Longer sitting did very little to develop wine. wonder if it was just a bad bottle as I've had good wine from this produce recently.
