'12 Epicuro Primitivo
2012 Epicuro , Puglia IGT, Primitivo ($6.00 at Trader Joes, Alcohol level 14%). A surprising good wine. It gave full Zinfandel aromas and taste on the nose and upfront. It gave the expected in middle with red and black fruits with minimum problems with tannin or other interference. It had a short, but niece finish.

We thoroughly enjoyed it with marinated steak ends Teriyaki, grilled over charcoal and soaked wild cheery chips, rice cooked in beef stock, and a nice salad. Yum!
