The Laddie Ten - oh my!!!
This is awesome Scotch!! Bruicladdich doesn't peat their product, unlike all the other Islay Scotches, and that's unusual because even some Highlands are peated to some degree. Anyway, to The Laddie Ten. It is incredibly smooth, even viscous feeling. There are copious honey notes with an underlying smokiness, and a minor hint of vanilla. The finish has some iodine, which is typical of all Islay Scotches. This is probably the best Scotch I've had in years.

Mike - Try this tomorrow at Julio's. I promise you'll love it. BTW, Julio's price is $61.99, ours is $39.99. So, if you like it enough to want to buy it, be sure to come to Warehouse.

Last few case purchases for daily drams.

(1) Johnnie Walker Green 1 L bottles for $65 .... which I promptly put into storage when I found out that they are not making this any more....... I have only one case left.
(2) Ardbeg non-chilled filtered 46% $22.99 nice if but a wee bit simple..but went through two cases of these last year.
(3) Laddie 10, OMG greatness for under $40....

KC, that was a great recommendation.

Due to ludicrous price increases, it's now up to $61.99 - up $20 a btl. Sorry. Glad I have an employee discount.
